THE TIDE CAN TURN movie is the vision of Mark and Brenda Haville who are based in Nashville, aka"Music City," Tennessee. Together they have crafted the story and written the screenplay. Mark has also written the lyrics for sixteen of the movie's original songs including "Give Em Jesus" which he and Brenda wrote together along with the melody.
DEBI MICHAELIS
Debi Michaelis is a top industry professional with a career in casting and producing that spans over thirty years, covering over 250 television shows and multiple feature films across numerous networks and studios including: SONY, ABC, Touchstone, CBS, NBC, Twentieth Century Fox, TNT, NBC and Paramount.
Iconic TV shows and movies include: Jerry Bruckheimer's series Chase, Prison Break, Walker Texas Ranger, Dr.T And The Women, and Armageddon. Debi is currently Director of Development with Aaron Norris for a slate of projects including The Tide Can Turn and 22 Kids And Counting.
With her passion for Christian films and movies that honor Jesus, Debi Michaelis is one of the most valuable members of our team. Her life is the inspiration for the true life story depicted in 22 Kids and Counting.

For 15+ years, Carl has been a directing and producing creative force in Nashville, TN in professional video and film production. With a keen eye, a signature vision and collaborative nature, he has garnered critical accolades and earned the opportunity to direct some of the music industry’s top entertainers including Lauren Daigle, Gavin DeGraw, Switchfoot, Mandy Moore, Rascal Flatts and many more. Joey plays a key role in The Tide Can Turn music production team. He is the lead vocalist on "Crying in Tonight and "The Tide Can Turn," as well as "What I Have Now,"which is accompanied by Joey on piano. Joey is writing the music for several other songs currently in production. He also crafted the piano arrangement for "Beauty and Ashes" which will soon be released as a music video.

Lana Mason is part of THE TIDE CAN TURN songwriting team, composing the music and lyrics for "He's In The Middle" and the music for "Beauty and Ashes."She is the lead female vocalist on all of the movie's current demos. Lana sings and portrays TTCT's lead female character, Harmony, in a soon to be released music video titled "Beauty and Ashes."
Lana, a Nashville native, sings a variety of genres including jazz standards, gospel and classic country. She also writes and performs her own contemporary gospel songs. She has performed with numerous Music City bands including The Music City Playboys, The Time Jumpers with Vince Gill and The Lynn Beal Big Band. Currently Lana has teamed up with her fiancé Jordan Newell performing as the Decade Drifters.

Amanda Walker has composed the music for two of The Tide Can Turn's songs: "Crying in Tonight" and the title track "The Tide Can Turn." She also played piano and was co-producer on both recordings .
